Statistics Canada examined the connection between Canadian airlines and the COVID-19 in 2020. They found out that more passengers were transported in each of the first two months of 2020 than in the previous nine months combined.
The numbers demonstrate the situation: nearly 7 million passengers in January 2020 and almost 7 million in February 2020, but only 6.3 million passengers from April to December.
